Description
Maïa is what happens when proper Provence meets pure good times, a serious Côtes de Provence rosé designed for sunshine vibes, summer parties and long, lazy lunches. Made at a Cru Classé estate in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, cooling sea breezes help keep the fruit bright and crisp, while owner Roger Zannier and winemaker Patrick Galliano focus on a clean, modern Provençal style, with Master of Wine insight from Liam Steevenson helping fine-tune the final blend. The grapes are Cinsault (35%), Grenache Noir (25%), Syrah (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Mourvèdre (10%), handled with cool, gentle maceration, a light press and stainless-steel fermentation to lock in freshness. It’s dry (dryness 1) at 13% ABV, with lifted aromas of wild strawberry and peach, a squeeze of citrus, a hint of florals and a crisp, refreshing finish, brilliant with grilled prawns, niçoise salad, charcuterie or soft goat’s cheese. Contains sulphites and egg, bottled under natural cork and made from organically farmed grapes in conversion.
